looomi and SDGs

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are international goals that aim for a sustainable and better world by 2030 as described in the "2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" adopted unanimously by the United Nations Summit in September 2015 as a successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) formulated in 2001. It consists of 17 goals and 169 targets, and pledges to "leave no one behind" on the planet. The SDGs are universal not only for developing countries but also for developed countries themselves, and we are actively working on them as Japan.

Since its establishment, HOOMI has been working to solve social issues, and will engage in activities to create opportunities to pay attention to various issues due to the sluggish demand for domestic lumber and to overcome difficulties in society. And as the watchword of the world until 2030, we will realize a sustainable and better world together to achieve our goals.
