Etymology of "Kinoki"

It was used to make fire in ancient times, and there is a theory that "cypress" means "tree of fire", and there is a theory that "tree of the day" is derived from "day" which represents the precious and supreme thing. The Etymological Dictionary of Etymology states that the "hi" in "fire" is an oto-sound while the "hi" in "cypress" is a ko-sound, so the "tree of fire" theory is not valid, and either "tree of the day" or "spirit tree" is considered to be the etymology because it is used for materials for the shrine.

Cypress is used in shrines and Buddhist temples and is a very sacred material, so there are not many facilities and buildings that use cypress throughout the space.
Hoomi uses cypress trees as they are in the space, and it will create memories for a lifetime that can not be experienced in everyday life.
